安东尼奥·洛佩斯·加西亚

洛佩斯于1936年出生在西班牙托梅略索的小镇雷亚尔城。他的叔父是一位时运不济的优秀画家，发现了侄子的天赋，并成为他的启蒙老师，对其成长产生了极大的影响。1949年，年仅13岁的洛佩斯，在叔父的鼓励下，并得到父母的支持，只身赴马德里学画，并于次年考入圣费尔南多高等美术学院（前身即是西班牙历史最悠久、名望最高的圣费尔南多皇家美术学院，现在称马德里美术学院）学到1955年毕业。

1955年洛佩斯在西班牙第三届造型艺术竞赛中，荣获西班牙教育部颁发的赴意大利考察奖学金。

洛佩斯初登艺坛，便不同凡响；到六十年代后期，更是引起欧美普遍的重视。时至今日，洛佩斯已被公认为世界艺坛具象界的一位杰出代表。

“我们不能再象伦勃朗那样画，因为我们生活在20世纪；我不象过去那样画了，不象其他强调主观的画家那样画。因为我越来越觉的对世界了解不够.现实那么复杂，存在很多神秘的东西，看不见，或者一眼看不透。有时感觉到了可又抓不住。但是，眼见的东西好歹能扑抓到，而且抓的越准，就越可能把未能明确认识的神秘这种非物质的真实多少表达出来。”
